Orienteering

Orienteers must make decisions while exerting themselves physically.

Orienteering is...

1. a competitive sport using a compass and special map to navigate from a starting point, through a series of control points identified on the map, to a finishing point. Competitors must decide what route choices will bring them to the finish in the minimum amount of time.

2. a fun, recreational activity for all ages and skill levels that teaches basic navigation.

3. a great way to get some fresh air while activating your brain and your body.

4. easy to learn, but difficult to master.

5. P-SITO (PAHS)*
