The Texas 923rd Cadet Group attended several air shows sponsored by the Commemorative Air Force, including this year's Wings Over Houston Air Show on Saturday, October 31st and Sunday, November 1st.


Additionally, Westbury cadets learn to pilot Civil Air Patrol aircraft as part of the AFJROTC flight orientation program.

To further their understanding of aviation, second and third year cadets study the AFJROTC Science of Flight textbook. This work counts toward their course grade.

Cadets also have the opportunity to hone their piloting skills in a wide variety of aircraft using the flight simulator.
